Relaxed pace 5e D&D game required

Hi, as the title says I'm looking for a fairly relaxed (in terms of posting rate) 5e game. I run a game for some friends here and play in a few others, so I'm looking to join something where a high posting rate isn't expected.

I don't have a great deal of familiarity with Forgotten Realms or the other established 5e settings, but I do have all of the core books (PHB, DMG, MM, VGTM, XGTE and MTOF).

I'm happy to play in a party or as a solo player if someone is willing to DM.

I'd love to GM a slow paced 5e game! I am a flake though. My games tend to die. RPoL is killer on mortality rate pf D&D games. If you're willing to take a chance, and the odds would be good but not high we'd get to a...I hate to say checkpoint, but story interlude, or level, I could go for that. I don't know D&D 5e very well either. :s So it would be either homebrew world, or just very topical of the game world.

Think about it.I'm not ready to GM quite yet, but I have scrapped "module" basically an encounter and NPC list, that I had to scrap for a bad plot idea that died. The work would be low, and if you want slow posting rate I'd like you to hand pick your group. I enjoy groups, but too big or too small seems to make it complicated or bland. I'll let you set that size though, and choose your players. If you can't or don't want to, I'll advertise and you and I can talk about good fits. Then I'll play gatekeeper to arrange the three way dialogue with each RTJ to make sure they also get an equal share. I won't play favorites, but I do want to make sure whatever adventure I make, that you, the request maker, feel welcome and comfortable. :) So I will make sure the criteria of the game plan meet your desires (and mine too!) and we'll target a player base that will be compatible. If I'm a flake, NO ONE wants have bad fit. ;)

Anyway, think about this as a tentative option. It could die. I think you know that though. I've come to accept when it's fun it's great! To not take it too seriously too. ;)

@Silverfoxdmt73: Hi. I have a setting already in place so a lack of familiarity with FR and other settings won't be a problem, and a 5th edition game already going. Currently it only has one other player, who is also posting at a relaxed rate too. You don't have to meet up with her and can have your own adventure to keep you busy. If you're interested, you can check the link to my game page. Its got a lot of homebrew game info posted, of which maybe 1% is required reading, just enough to understand the setting and what's going on around you.

The game is set in the city-state of Riverbend, a sprawling metropolis (think ancient Rome, along with a mish-mash of other cultures and races) where there is something for just about every race and class. You don't have to start off at 1st level, but I won't put you at 20th either, just whatever you're comfortable with.

The only PC races not allowed are Gnome (hunted to extinction a long time ago), and Dragonborn (now extinct, the last one killed only a few months earlier in the game). Optional races and classes may be possible, depending on what source you're wanting to use--I'm willing to help players build the character they want, so I'll work with you on that as long as its a reasonable request.
