Mid-lvl DnD 3.5/Pathfinder, Nature Themed, Forgotten Realms

My brother and I are looking for a GM to run a level 13-15 'nature themed' game based in the forests of Cormanthor (in the Forgotten Realms campaign setting).  I would like the game system to be predominantly 3.5/Pathfinder (though open to GM approved material from Dragon Magazine; as I will be making one or two small requests myself from those sources - see below).

I would like the party to be no bigger than 4-6 players.

Character creation would have players being limited to a single class (my intent will be to play a Totemist from Magic of Incarnum and my brother intends to play a ranger) and a single PrC if they so choose (amended later in this request thread to allow 2 classes, minimum 5 levels per class with the caveat of not being able to enter a PrC later).  Races would be limited to any 1 HD/0 LA race from accepted sources. (class examples: ranger and/or wildshaping ranger variant, druid, druid/master of many forms, possibly a forest/nature based barbarian, scout, there is a Wilderness Rogue variant in Unearthed Arcana, and any other class that could justifiably be deemed or skewed toward being strictly nature based.

I'd request a 36 point buy for attributes.

As mentioned above, the Dragon Magazine material I wish to use is the feat 'Savage Empathy' (from Dragon magazine #326), which allows the application of wild empathy to other creature types, though still bound by the rules of wild empathy (1 or 2 intelligence, or no intelligence score at all; also, it cannot be applied to animals, humanoids, constructs, or undead)

I had a similar idea for a game, even considered GMing it, but it would have been much lower level. Also I'm not sure I could run a game in Cormanthor, I'm not familiar enough with the specifics of the setting.

Still if you find a GM, and there's room for a third player, I'd be interested to play (maybe a druid/master of many forms, or a favored soul of a nature deity).

Good luck in your search !

Sardis' brother here... to further his GM request and the use of Cormanthor as the setting, w are looking for a GM's spin on the setting, not necessarily a Canon rehash.

The basics can be found here: https://forgottenrealms.fandom.com/wiki/Cormanthor

The forest is a dangerous place with many deadly denizens.

The concept would involve eventually going to the ruins of Myth Drannor (again, GM not bound to Cannon maps and can create the ruins as they see fit), long protected by a powerful Mythal (see the link above for more on Mythal's).  The Magic of the Mythal protecting Myth Drannor have become corrupt and adventurers are now able to access the ruins which have not been entered in near 5,000 years.  Although none have entered it has inhabitants that are not so keen on the outside world entering their domain.

Our group would be the initial party sent to explore the ruins and report what they find.

Also, we would be looking to take 2 flaws for feats as per Unearthed Arcana.

Edit: so along with this game being nature based if Myth Drannor is reached then would also be dungeon based.

I would not be able to run this but if a GM shows up and there would be interest in a/ eventual/ Druid/Wizard/Arcane Hierophant of Shiallia id love to tag in.

In reply to chrismwood1985 (msg # 4):

As per the character guidelines above... 1 class or 1 class and one PrC... 2 classes with no PrC (ever in its progression would be acceptable - consider this an amendment to the above guidelines)... But nothing more... Your proposed build requires 2 classes and a PrC which is beyond the listed criteria.

To GM's that might consider this game...what changes to the request might make this game more attractive to run?

Our GM has gone absent for 2 full weeks now and we are once again seeking a GM.

We are currently a party of 3 (was 4 but GM was running a character).

We were still in the character building process but unable to finish due to no GM feedback.
