Starfinder
Tell you what, if you're willing to put up with a GM who's never even played Starfinder, let alone run it, not played a lot of Pathfinder and run even less, but has been running and playing various incarnations of D&D (as well as tons of other systems, including several science fiction games, such as Traveller) since the early 80's, I'd be willing to give it a shot. Does this basis for a campaign sound interesting:
The PC's are the officers and crew of a starship with an NPC owner/captain--allowing him to serve as a patron who provides adventure hooks and allowing the starting characters to not need to afford a ship. They will not comprise the entire ship's complement, allowing there to be additional onboard NPC's to interact with and there to be a source of additional PC's to be added later (either as replacements for casualties or for new players). Adventures will take place both in space and on planets.
If you're interested, please indicate your interest as well as what rating(s) you would want the game to have, or would at least be willing to play in if your first preference isn't chosen--General, Mature, or Adult. (I am especially interested in the OP's opinion on this matter, since, after all, they are the ones who requested a game in the first place.) There clearly is already enough interest in StarFinder to make a game, I just need to know if there's enough interest in my idea and what rating I should make it at if there is. Then I can make it and post the link here.
