Myself and two other players are looking to recruit a GM for the 5E beginner module Lost Mine of Phandelver.

We had quite a good game going, but it sadly seems that—following the holidays—we've lost our GM. After drops and disappearances by a couple other PCs, our group had already resolved to recruit sufficient new players to bring our party back up to at least four. Unfortunately, to do so it now looks like we need a new GM, first.

We're looking for someone who's interested in picking up where we seem to have stalled, rather than starting over. There are usually people floating around who would rather start at higher than 1st level, so hopefully there will be some who fancy joining us at 3rd. To prevent spoiling those who may not have played the module, I'll simply say we've completed the first part of it, so we're at an excellent juncture to pick up new PCs without going to extreme lengths to explain or introduce them.

The three of us who remain in the original game (bard, rogue, and wizard) are committed to continuing along together, so it would be great to find a GM willing to work with our established characters as well as helping to fold in one or two newcomers, after things are set up. We have a mix of veteran and beginner 5E players, which means that an experienced or new 5E GM would be welcome, as well as one who (like us) favors roleplaying and strong character interaction over "roll-playing."

We're looking forward to hearing from any interested Dungeon Masters!

I was just in a LMoP game which was abandoned by its GM not far into the game. I'm interested in joining as a player. My character was a Dwarven Wizard, but I'm open to something different since you already have a Wizard.

I was looking to get back into DMing. What style, tone, and/or themes were you looking for?

I think we're mostly interesting in focusing on character development, so challenges that would help us to solidify our inter-party relationships at higher levels and so on. No particular tone in mind, just wanting to finish the vanilla module and then see where we go from there. Obviously, some surprises from enemies and NPCs would be a plus, but I don't think we want to veer completely away from the story and, like, build a whole campaign off the events of this one adventure. Rather, we're looking more to continue on to other modules later on, in an old-fashioned style vs. modern APs.

Unfortunately, it looks as though the GM who took up our adventure has disappeared. We've made arrangements to try and continue moving the game along for the moment, but we're once again looking for a new Dungeon Master to help us continue (and finish) Lost Mine of Phandelver, as described above.

Since our original ad was posted, we've added two additional PCs, so there is now a party of five. We have just reached Phandalin, and haven't really gotten busy there yet. Hopefully this piques someone's interest!
