Monsterheats [Mature or Adult]
MONSTERHEARTS
I have recently heard about Monsterhearts, and gotten hold of the first edition. Never played it, but it looks easy to pick up and run with. If the second edition isn't too dissimilar I would be up for playing that as well. Given the nature of the subject matter I would expect to see an Mature or Adult rating on a game. I'm over eighteen and good with that.
I am hoping for something from the mid 90's at the earliest up to present day-ish and set at a location (city, town, what have you) rather than traveling or based around an event that only certain people would be interested in. The setting should not be a "monster highschool", but rather one in which the players characters are monsters in a crowd of humanity.
The character idea I have in mind is a Queen with the "first born of the hivemind" origin and Streaming. That, or a Ghoul or Werewolf as second and third choices. It would also be nice to not have the Chosen skin in the game, as that seems like it would shift focus towards fighting monsters, rather than being monsters.
Generally I can post daily, and I would like to be in a game that for the most part has regular, consistent, posting rates. It does not need to be multiple times a day, or everyday, but too little story progress and I know that my interest will wane from lack of activity.
I am aware that some people equate horror or mystery to the clue hunting. I am not one of those people and find investigative games with detective work to be unappealing. So I would hope that a potential GM could minimize that sort of element.
Other than these things I do not have any special requests. Mostly I just want to create a character, find out who they are through play, and interact with the game world and other players to see what kind of stories come out of it.
Please only post here if you would like to GM a game or have a game already running.
*Note, rather than create and close more than one GM wanted thread, I have been using this one for my requests.
