Seeking more MnM, willing to Co-GM
I want to play more Mutants and Masterminds 3rd edition, sadly, the games I'm in just don't scratch enough of that itch. My local game is moving well, but I'm the only guy able to GM for it.
Sadly, of the current selection seeking players they either seem dead, I'm not interested, I'm already a player, or I'm waiting for an answer.
I'd be willing to Co-GM if needed, so long as I actually get to be on the other side of the GM screen with some regularity.
- Wouldn't mind a game that is not 'superheroes', tho I wouldn't mind superheroes either.
- I'm not interested in playing an established character unless I can put enough of a twist to it to feel like my own.
- or in a setting as, well, messy as the full comics versions of DC or Marvel. A custom, cartoon or movie version, I can deal, particularly if it's starting.
- I'm not interested in an evil party or a game concept that encourages such party members, it's just not what I feel like playing.
- Nor am I interested at the time in a game whose concept encourages player versus player conflict of the physical kind.
- I'm fine with both sandboxey and episodic, either works for me.
Sample game idea:
The Young Justice cartoon would be an interesting place to play in: plenty of recognizable characters and a nefarious plot without being too much to the point of bloat, it also has a decent starting point and excuse to get the players involved.
We could remove existing sidekicks or make them uninterested in joining unless someone wants to play one of them straight, that way there's room for players to create their own or give one of them their own twist, the timeline, similarly, could be fudged if someone wants, say, for batgirl to already be active or to play the third Robin or a custom one instead of the first, or if they want some hero to exist in YJ and already be a member of the JL so they can play their sidekick.
