Hi there!

I'm new to the website and just enjoy roleplaying in general. I'm looking for games that are primarily set in fantasy / sci fi / horror worlds but I'm willing to take a look at any and all games (as long as you're ok with the fact I may be a newbie to the rule system).

Currently I cannot join adult games as I haven't been here for two weeks but feel free to post them anyhow - I'll message anyone whose game I'm considering joining.

My priority is games that are fairly active but I'll take a peek at anything.

Yes I have and I've replied to plenty of ads for specific games there. I'm posting here as GMs may be looking to pick up players for games and I'm open to that as well, even if the game isn't established yet.

In terms of tabletop, I've played a few versions of D&D, I'm most familiar with 3.5.

A lot of my experience comes from RP in video games or IRC as well - they have their own rolling systems/ etc. depending on which game it is or which guild you're in. That's why I'm willing to try my hand at anything as long as someone doesn't mind me learning the systems. :)

Shadowrun is science fantasy: a slightly distopian, cyberpunk world with elements of fantasy rolled in.

I am usually home around 6pm EST.  If you want to join that game, I can give you a more concrete rundown on the world's background and help you create a character.

If you are interested, we are seeking one or two more players for a 3.5 edition Forgotten realms. They are 3rd level and just heading out on a mission. Our average posts are 2-3 per week, so its steady, but not fast paced.
