I'm not really picky, I just wanna pay Star Wars, and there aren't any people who run games near me in real life. I like to build characters, but I've got no games to play them in. Just made a Klatooinian Diplomat, so I wanna try him out.

I would be interested in playing. I have no experience in either system, and have no preference.

Just got back into RPoL after extended break.

I've run a few Edge of Empire games, not specific game modules or missions. Home made stuff.

And I've run my own pbp here a while back and it had a very mysterious story set up but I left the site for personal reasons and it didn't have time to get going again.

So I've got a few stories all ready and willing to gm if theres enough interest?

Not sure if this went anywhere. I am also willing to DM some FFG Star Wars - I have several of the adventures (actually, everything released...) or can put a custom game together if there is a theme you want to explore.

As a warning (maybe) I adhere to Legends Canon for galactic events and don't really want to do an Alternities type game, in case that is a real-time breaker.

Would love to join in on a Star Wars game. The last three or four I have joined on here just mysteriously ended. Guess the Empire finally caught up with them.

I'll get a game setup but I want to know what y'all want to play. I keep seeing sandbox games fold - perhaps from being spoiled for choice, or just DMs being overwhelmed by work once it gets going. To that end, I'll put a list up here of the adventures I'm willing to run, and the themes I have adventure ideas for. If folks will give me a general indication of what they most want to play, and what others they're willing to settle for, I'll get it going.

If we have enough interest, I am willing to run up to two games - one theme and one adventure (as the theme will take more prep work I don't want to try two of those, but I can run two adventures if that's what folks want).

I have no ideas about the adventures, buy my vote would be for 'Fastest spanner in the galaxy' / exploration.

This one definitely calls for the EotE ruleset. Fringers, tech-heads, explorers, gun-runners, outdoorsy types. Throw in a way for the GM to randomly generate world biomes and situations, and you could have a nice open-sandbox game.

Hop in your ship, point the navicomputer at a blank spot on the map, press Go, see where you end up.

I was saying that I didn't want to do an open sandbox type game because they seem the quickest to fold up.

Arda 1 is an adventure about losing, and gaining, rebel bases.
Friends like These you are scrambling to find allies to save a rebel base and innocent people.
Beyond the Rim is a search for a lost starship reportedly filled with treasure.
Mask of the Pirate Queen is about hunting a dangerous and elusive target - then deciding what to do once you've caught them.
Secrets of the Gatekeeper is following the descent to the dark side of a powerful Jedi, learning his secrets and avoiding the same fate.

Fastest Spanner in the Galaxy would be working for an organization, being sent to battlefields, crash sites, or ship graveyards to evaluate if they're worth a full scavenging operation.
Thrill of the Hunt would be an event honoring the Great Hunt of the past, similar in concept to the BH storyline from Old Republic (but with new targets and settings).
He who would be King is helping a noble scion engineer his path to ruling a backwater, but populous planet, and then keeping him there.
Aurek Team would be an ensemble cast of washouts and burnouts trying to make the galaxy better, and make a little money while they do it.

Then yes, I would prefer 'Fastest Spanner in the Galaxy', or 'Beyond the Rim'. That said, I wouldn't mind the other types/themes.

Anybody else? Hoping we pick up more responses over the weekend and that it wasn't just a flash in the pan.
