I am looking for a GM who would be willing to run a game based on the old HeroQuest Board game that MiltonBradley put out in the late 80s and early 90s.

Preferred system for this would be one of the Dungeons and Dragons systems, while I have access to all I would say either 3.x or 5e would be best options.

Have you considered Warhammer Fantasy RPG 2nd edition? Admittedly a lot of HeroQuest is based on D&D but the setting is in the Warhammer Fantasy world. Having played D&D Basic (1983 I believe) that may be close to what you're looking for but I don't think 5th would be. I don't know if any of this helps lol
