the option could exist to stop the termination of mankind from other skynet
I picture a game where we may manage one region of the planet as part of a distributed global network of self aware hyper intelligent ai
I'm not as interested in build orders and moving tokens around a map though. it would be better if the decisions focused on upgrading existing terminators or taking entirely different approaches with new tech
the RPG strategy aspects could involve negotiation with human and skynet factions, setting research goals, choosing collectively to focus our efforts on particular resistance groups and the kind of moral choices of a Kotor or mass effect game except more rpgish
example: one skynet player might propose we collect DNA material to clone and develop a protected biome style zoo to preserve pre war earth for future research
the others may commit resources or suggest a better use of them such as developing predatory creatures as improvements to previous life to aid in eradicating humanity
