I'd love to play a bit of cyberpunk, I don't know if I have ever seen a cp game on the forums. I think shadowrun would appeal to more people because of having more options but I can't believe there are no cp ppl here so if someone wants to run something I'd love to see that done

I've tried to run a couple of them, but they ran out of steam after a little while.  I could be interested in playing though, just not up for GMing one at the moment.

There are plenty of CP2020 players here on RPoL but, as BBR says, the games run out of steam for various reasons.  If anyone does take up the mantle of GM, I'd be up for playing also.

In my experience, it has been the GM not having time to run the game any more, a few times it has been player absence.  I've been in games where the GM has decided to start from scratch and that, in itself, was the mark of death as players lost interest.  I'm sure there are other reasons.

Which is a Pitty as I love Cyberpunk2020.

I'm also interested in playing, never having played before.  I'm in the process of tracking down a hard copy of the core book though, which I'm pretty excited about.

I'd love to get into a game if one does surface - or if I get to reading I'm kind of interested in slogging my way through GMing, with patience and understanding from players.

PS also new to the site - is there anyway to keep track of/follow forum threads?

Someone else may know differently, but as far as I am aware, the only way to follow and keep track of the Forum Threads is to keep checking them.

fantastic! like i said i am new-beyond-new but i'm keen.  i plan on starting to read through the core book (in between learning the ropes of netrunner over at jinteki.net) to get a sense of what needs to be done to run a game and run it fairly well.  i'd certainly advertise myself as a rookie gm.

Ok I'm working my way through the core book and trawling reddit and thinking I'd like to run a FNFF to get a feel for Reffing and to test out the combat system. Anyone interested to try it out in the near future?

Ok, we're in the process of preparing a small story which should accommodate 6-7 characters. I'm just checking if there is still interest. With a bit of luck the game will be up by the end of the week.

THANK you for all of your interest, and character concepts.  there has been a LOT of interest, i.e. at least a baker's dozen

my co-gm and i are in the process of assessing our potential characters, and so i would like to postpone our request for new players until a later date.

i intend to keep y'all posted if there should be any openings for characters in the future.
