Blowing the dust off a character

So, I have a character sitting around that I'd like to use sometime. He's a green toxic dragon who's pretty much a very greedy individual. Most of what he does is what he considers business, or for his own profit and gain, or enjoyment. While he's not necessarily evil, he's not above using cruel, or malicious tactics in order to get what he wants. Imagine him like the stereotypical dragon who sits on a pile of gold in their lair, except for the fact that this guy is also a businessman and instead of eating unprepared adventurers, he eats the contents of other people's wallets (not literally). He also gets bored easily sometimes and likes to go out and do stuff; if he can't stay a dragon, he polymorphs into a dwarf. Again he isn't necessarily evil, but more self absorbed; but even he has moral limits and stuff... For example, while he's pretty willing to run someone's business into the ground for profit and effectively ruin their life, he would never hurt a child. Yea, that actually sounds a little evil, but hey; I probably won't stick to the exact mantra that I've detailed here. I want to play a grey area. I might change a small bit about him... Depending on the game of course.

He was not made under any sort of system such as d&d, and he can be adapted to fit different settings; however, I would like to use him. Honestly I prefer free form and stuff that isn't overweighted by game mechanics, but anything works. He can play whatever role the GM sees fit; however I would like to actively play as him, whether it be as an antagonist, anti hero, "quest giver", or whatever. An adult rated game would be prefered, honestly. So, RPoL, what do you got for me?
