D&D 3.5 shadowy underworld in an urban setting

I'm hoping to find someone willing to run a 3.5 game that allows for evil or evil(ish) characters who get involved with crime, assassinations, political turmoil, etc. Crime syndicates, gangs, cults, or whatever you like. Balders Gate, Waterdeep, or a fictional town, anything is cool so long as its a big D&D city. Rival crime syndicates or situations where players are placed in tough moral dilemmas would be a huge bonus.

Not interested in any kind of erotic RP or fully scripted adult material. Implied is fine and well.

Thanks for taking the time to read!

Would you accept Eberron?
Me and some friends always had the idea of a game set in Eberron to take down the power of the Dragonmarked houses and replace the void of power with our houses. It would be a "Small houses wanting to think big" theme. The small houses have obvious friction between them, but they put rivalries aside to achieve a Grand Plan.

While we don't see our character as very evil, the feeling of "The end justifies the means" is very potent. Except the end is money and political power, not the welfare of all humanity.

I want to be a player, but if any idea with those components is good for you, perhaps we can find together a GM for this? I would be happy to tell you and a prospective GM more.

I'll have to brush up on my knowledge of Eberon (which is limited to playing D&D:Online from back in 2005), but I like that. I'm looking to play a sort of grim hit man kind of rogue, so that would fit in perfectly to a house hiring someone for dirty work.

Hi. I am one of his friends. Your  concept  is just a Celare  striker/assassin in  my opinion.  Want to play  as the heir of a logistics company?

This has officially become a search for a GM that can offer a game to representatives of the Six Hidden Psionics Houses
http://archive.wizards.com/def...20060403a&page=6

The goal of our characters is to undermine, sabotage and make political operations against the Dragonmarked Houses in Eberron. The six hidden houses are going to put differences aside to take over Khorvaire.

would any of you be willing to take down something other than the dragon marked houses?

link to another game
mature game

rival factions...check
  • lycanthropes
  • lich council
  • water guild
  • inn of the howling wolf (Lawful evil government)
  • the black hand (thieves guild)
  • illithids
  • more factions that are currently unnamed

the point of the game is to undermine the government and replace it with something...anything else.
