Hey, first post here at RPOL.  I recently acquired the L5R fourth edition core book and I'm looking for a GM and group to try out the RPG.

I'm a moderately new player as well, having never been able to get a good game going since I got the book myself.
I might be willing to run the Legacy of Disaster free adventure, just to have a chance to experience the game myself if no other GM pops up.

Otherwise, I'd be interested in an introductory game as well.

I'm somewhat familiar with the adventure, Legacy of Disaster, and I'm willing to try it if you GM.  Hopefully, we'll get enough players.

Okay, looks like there's a lot of interest to get started, and perhaps not a more experienced GM coming along any time soon. I'll start making the game.

I'll post the game thread here in a few days; just want to tidy up and set up some preliminary posts first.

EDIT: I just noticed the mention of the Topaz Tournament, however, I am not sure I'd be comfortable using that just yet. First, the pdf seems to show it is a 3rd edition adventure and I don't want to deal with any conversions between editions. Perhaps I can put in a similar style adventure later, if you all wanna continue playing with your characters.

Ack...I didn't notice it was 3rd ed.  Good thing I'm not the one GMing!

Legacy of Disaster will work fine, I'm sure.  Thanks again for running this game!
