So I'm looking to be playing (not running sorry) a game where players start with a basic level of goods to trade, with some cash to get the necessary caravan ready (IE, things like the wagons, draft beasts, guards, etc.), and have a game of that.

I'd be interested in a merchant campaign as a player. What sort of system/setting were you interested in?

Eh, either 3.5 or Pathfinder (since I have the base books for each of those), but I'm pretty open as long as there are pretty easy rules for how to get started and hard numbers for me to work with on the handling part.
