Vampire: the Masquerade

I gave V:tM a try many years ago, and lately I've been thinking it might be fun to dive back in and see if I can get a longer-lasting game this time (i.e. long enough that anything at all actually happens).  All I have is the Revised edition core book, so if the game will be run under a different edition I'll probably need a little help with whatever has changed.  Anyone up for running this?

Like a dark shadow in an overly serious night, I fly stealthily through the internet to bump this thread!

Which one is the 'Revised' Edition ? there is 1st ed, 2cd ed, Anniversary 2.0 edition, then the Vampire Requiem variants (aka New World of Darkness).
The anniversary version lacks many things found in the 1st 2 editions, like Merits and Flaws (you can find several good versions of these online) as well as free PDF downloads if you search around for older books.

That is the book that I have.  Maybe it still counts as 2nd ed?

Revised is also known as 3rd edition. And its quite compatible with V20 thats being run more actively right now so i suggest you look for a V20 game and explain you only got the 'old' one and you can probably slip in easily.
