DnD 5e -- Critters Unite!

Hi there!

I'm a Critical Role fanatic and I would absolutely love to hook up with other Critters and learn how to play this!

My husband just got us the books so I'll be reading through them, but I'm not nearly well-versed enough in the rules to run a game myself yet, so I'm hoping there is someone out there who wants to lead a fellow compulsive and hopefully some others who'd like to hop on the #lessthanthree train!

You guys rock, have a great day!

DnD 5e -- Critters Unite!

Checking the forums after finishing episode 52 on youtube. I'd be willing to take us through a quick module as l 1 characters, and then see if people want to continue it from there.

Grab some players and you've got yourself a DM. It might be a few days as I set it all up.

In reply to ColinBeck (msg # 2):

I'm not sure what critical role is, but sounds interesting. I can get a look at it and maybe i'd join too.

Critical Role is a show on twitch (you can catch the old episodes on YouTube or geekandsundry.com/shows/critical-role/) where a bunch of people play DnD 5e.  They're voice actors, but more importantly they're friends and it's kinda obvious how much they are connected.  It's a magnificent representation of how wonderful roleplaying and tabletops can be and the community that has grown around it is probably one of the best communities on the interwebs.  The fans named themselves Critters at around their 10th episode (they're on #57 right now).

I've personally never played DnD before though I've spent the last 25+ years with other systems, so I'm excited to learn a new system but I also feel like I have the basics down from other experiences and from watching them play it on stream for the last year or more.  They stream live every Thursday and the #Isitthursdayyet and #Thankyouforthursday hype is kinda large.

Sorry if it sounds like an informercial ... like I said earlier, kind of an obsessive fanatically zealous fangirl.  I highly recommend it to any and every person in the world.

While it might be fun, i would NOT recommend copying someone else for anything Roleplay, whether it be D&D or roleplay in general. Origionality tends to make things more fun

Not copying them. Want to learn the system they're using. Chars and story will be our own, of course!
