Hi there!

I've been trying to play in a M&M 2E game here on RPOL for as long as I've been here... unfortunately, all of the games I joined died rather quickly. I was so bummed about it that I actually stopped searching... but, recently, I was reminded how much I like the game and the superhero genre in general. So, here's one more try!

Basically, I'd like to play in a straight superhero game. Style-wise and / or era-wise, it could be Silver Age, Iron Age, Modern Age... maybe Golden Age, even, although that's my least favourite era. I'd prefer this game to be a solo game, as I've had bad experience with group games.

I have a few ideas for a character, but I'm also open to discussing ideas with a GM. In any case, I'd like this game to last and allow us to chronicle a supehero's adventures for some time.

I grit my teeth when, if I ask for X, Y and Z, a potential GM responds with "how about X, Y and not-Z?" Still, would you accept Icons Assembled as the system? (It has the same designer as M&M, but much simpler system.)

For tone, I would go with Modern or possibly Iron Age, depending on what your character concepts and my imagination would tend to suggest. (Worth saying because the art style and characters in Icons do have a more retro feel.)

Hmmmm... I don't think so, no :( I could try it one day, but right now I'm mostly interested in M&M. Sorry :(
