Shadowrun 5th Edition

I haven't played Shadowrun in many years.... I'd love to get into it again however I'm pretty much a noob at this point.

I was looking for a GM that would feel up to running a Shadowrun game that doesn't mind going through the rules and explaining the system to me to play all over again.

Also interested. Always have wanted to try shadowrun. OP are you looking for a solo run or group?

Shadowrun 5th Edition

I too want to play Shadowrun 5e, haven't played much at all, but still have a decent grasp of the basics at least. I hope someone will start a game soon, there seems to be a lot of interest for it.

Shadowrun 5th Edition

I keep waiting for someone else to start a game, but I guess I can do one. I'll do it with a conditional, if anyone else is willing to start a game, I'll run a new one as well, as I'm betting there's loads of interest as there tends to be.

Shadowrun 5th Edition

After about two months of prep, the first two chapters (of a planned twelve) of this game are ready to run. I'm looking for 4-7 players who are more into cyberpunk role-playing and cinematic hijinks than number-crunchy tabletop combat (not because the latter is bad, but because RPoL isn't the best place for it). If you're okay with me taking a lot of shortcuts with the rules and with your character traits being treated more often as abstraction measures of general ability than as dice pools, then this is a game for you. Yes, it will be plot-driven, but I try to avoid railroading. Instead, I just try to give the characters proper incentive to play along with the plot, and hope the players role-play appropriately.

Please read all the Notice threads before assembling your RTJ, as there's a number of house rules and chargen restrictions.
