D&D 5e: Published Adventures?

Hi everyone. I think a lot of us have been really excited with 5th edition and everything it has to offer. I know when the starter box came out, I even ran The Lost Mines of Phandelver (my first time as a DM) with a group that had never played before, and it was a blast! Unfortunately, demands with school and work have kept me out of the loop for a long time, and, as such, I haven't had the opportunity to play any of the new published storylines, even though I'm really interested in the idea of the kind of continuity that exists between them.

So, basically, I guess I'm looking for both a group and a DM who would be interested in running through some of these on here, starting with Hoard of the Dragon Queen. I'm looking for folks that can post at least a few times a day, if possible. I'm just really excited about the new system, but I haven't had a chance to play much at all, and I'm really interested in the kind of 'canonical' continuity that exists across these new modules.

Please post here or message me if you'd be interested in playing or DM'ing some of these.

Thanks!

I would also be interested in finding a group and DM that wanted to run any of the Living FR content from 4e.

Like I said, I'm just kind of interested in exploring the 'canon' of published modules. Would also be open to playing any of the interconnected modules from 3.5 as well.

If anyone is interested in playing or DM'ing any of these, please let me know. I know at least one person has PMed me expressing interest in also playing some of the 5e published content.

In reply to mattymoron (msg # 2):

Is the Living FR content available to anyone? I could see GMing some of it, but I'd probably need to make extensive changes to the mechanical aspects. From what I've seen of them, they have some good ideas, but the combat is too easy and the other challenges are not very interesting.

In reply to engine (msg # 3):

There is a database on the Wizards website which has all of the Living FR content archived:

I would love to run through some of these with you and a group that wanted to play. I feel like 4e was judged a little harshly, and I think it could be loads of fun to play through some of the Living FR stuff, which I never had a chance to do! Please let me know if you'd be interested in running any of these!

I will shoot you a PM of this message as well.

D&D 5e: Published Adventures?

I could give DM-ing a shot.  I have none of the 5th ed adventures.  I have the 3 basic rulebooks and Swords Coast.  I like low to mid level characters, have played 5th a few times over the past year.  I would need some campaign ideas to get the situation started.  for example, I am presently running a Magnificent 7 type campaign at the local library vs the invading Romans.  No evil characters - not into evil gaming.

I would be interested in playing. I have read the 5e PHB and would like to try out the new system. I have extensive experience with many of the previous editions and would love to get involved in a campaign like the one you describe. Thanks.

Thanks for the website Mattmoron.  I can wait until the weekend to see if there is any further interest from the other two.
