Iron Kingdoms

So, I recently decided to try this out and I'm going to end up running a game for my home group in a month or so.  I'd like a chance to try it out as a player, though.  Anyone running one or interested in starting one?

I'd also like to play a game of this. I played once and have the rulebook for myself now and am in love with the setting and rules.

So, second!

I would also be interested. Or even Unleashed. Either works.

I've been in 3 games on here in the past and would love to be involved in another, I just hope it will last longer than character gen and about 3 months of game play :(

Well, that's a lot of interest... though I'm mostly interested in a small, fast game with an eye toward learning the rules a bit more quickly.

On the other hand, I'll take it under advisement that this might be something to run in the next month or two.

I'd be up for it, at any rate.

Iron Kingdoms

As I now will have more free time, I've been debating starting up an iron kingdoms game.

What I would like to run is the Immortality adventure from the no quarters.  But, for me to do this i would need a co-GM to help manage players, combats, and NPC and the like.

If anyone is up for the challenge of assisting me, send me a message.

I'd be much obliged if you'd run that, as it's not something I've read.  I'm not quite willing to volunteer to Co-GM (since half the point of me asking for the game was to learn the rules).

well id rather not take on someone who doesnt know the rules, as it slows the game down to a crawl. believe me, I've done it a few times.

but i can run you down the basics here if you want.

bones of the system:
2d6+whatever

you have several ability scores and skills, to perform an action, you take the ability score plus the skill and then roll 2d6.  attack with pistol?  Poise+Pistol+2d6.  Craft some alchemy?  Int+Alchemy+2d6.  etc etc etc.

there are ways to get more or less dice to your rolls, usually called either BOOST die, or ADDITIONAL die.  there is a difference between the two.  you can only have one extra BOOST die, but can have multiple ADDITIONAL dies, though having such things stack is extremely rare.

I've got the basics down (as I said above, I'm learning the game in order to run it).  I just don't have any in-play experience with it.  I normally garner that through listening to actual plays, but there are very few options out there for Iron Kingdoms APs.

Still looking for someone to at least run a brief demo of the system for me.
