Hi all

Many many years ago (30 or more to be more equate) a friend of mine bought V&V for our group to play but at the same time he got the golden hero box set and we ended up playing that instead. I later bought a copy of V&V after reading his book but alas never ever got round to playing it.

Now that I've read the news that the creators of the game have won their legal battle over the copy right of it I decided to have another look at the game. I've heard on quite a few forums how good it was. I've even bought the monkey house 2.1 edition so I have the most up to date version.

So I would love to try the rules and see what they are really like and thought I'd ask if there was someone  on here wiling to set up a game that I could join as a newbie.

Things I would be looking for but in reality anything would be great.

1) setting: whatever you want to set up would be fine with me

2) Character Gen: I love random generation systems as the end result can be interesting and challenging to play

3) posting rate: I would be comfortable with 2 - 3 posts a week though could manage more when combat occurs. I work long hours and weekends are spent with my wife and daughter so posting would be restricted at those times.

4) what I want in a game: I'd like to see a good balance of role playing and character interaction along with suspense and combat.... but combat should be to push the story along not just for the sake of having a fight :)


Apart from the above I'm open to anything anyone would be wiling to set up.

I'd be up for something like this.  I'm not really a fan of random generation, but it might be fun.  I don't have the most up to date version, but I hope that won't be a problem.  A good, well thought out Supers story is all I ask.

V&V rules. Definitely interested.
