BattleTech/A Time of War GM wanted
Hi, everybody!
I've been a player of BattleTech for twenty-eight years, nearly from the beginning and since all of my current RPGs have wrapped up and concluded, I find myself eager to return to the battlefields of the 31st Century. While I still have my TT BattleTech game going, it's been a good while since I got out of a 'Mech and into the action, as it were.
Ideally, I'm looking to start off with a fresh group and run through a mission or two and see if it unfolds into a bigger campaign. I've got several character ideas rattling around and could (theoretically) fill any slot in a team. MechWarriors, Tankers, Aerospace Pilot, Infantry, Battle Armor, Medic...it's all fun to me.
That being said, while I'm a HUGE fan of the lore, I'm also intrigued by the concept put forth by the Empires Aflame supplement. The idea of an alternate Inner Sphere where the Exodus never occurred just tickles my fancy and I can see a lot of ways where player actions could influence the Inner Sphere without butting up against the established lore.
