Any interest here for a game like that? Or like The Lost World of Darkness? Basically, people trapped on an island that seemingly defies time and space, home to millions of creatures from different eras and other impossible prehistoric juxtapositions. Lots of people here, and lots of wreckage from settlements, ships, etc. But you can't leave, only survive.

I prefer games with at least medium level of crunch, or at the least something with a strong social settlement/community-building system for something like this, since tribal growth and conflict are some of your main sources of stories. And, of course, all manner of prehistoric beasts and mysteries. A little bit ARK, a little bit The 100, a little bit Lost, and what do we have? Something with a bit of scientific thought mixed with the fantasy, so we have certain animals adapted in certain ways to the strange conditions of the island or whatever.

Maybe a bit of post-apocalyptic flavor, or something closer to Blue Planet but with a Mesozoic-like era?

It isn't exactly what you are requesting, but I run an ongoing game about cavemen and cavewomen on the lost continent of Mu. The rule system is definitely falling towards the simple side of things in a way that suits a play by post style of gaming well.
