My computer crashed and I had pretty much all my RPG stuff on it except a copy of Fate Core that I somehow managed to get onto my tablet and phone by chance. Anyway, so now I'm running another Fate Core game but haven't really had the good fortune to be a player with that system. I've had an idea brewing in my head since I first saw it though, how I'd really like to play a Sentient Ferret Inna Watch. Since Night Watch is my favorite all time book, the ideal time to set the game would be after that, but sometime before his writing was noticeably affected by Alzheimers (so Unseen Academicals and anything thereafter can be glossed over if the GM finds their incorporation necessary)

Out of curiosity, is it just Discworld you're after or do you have a particular interest in FATE?

I enjoy FATE in general, and I enjoy Discworld.  I am enthusiastic about the idea of joining the two, but not absolutely wedded to it.  I'm potentially up for other games as well.

I've been looking for a Fate in a low-fantasy setting of bumbling "heroes" with almost comical overtones. Diskworld might seem like a good choice, but unfortunately I don't know enough about the setting. I would be willing to GM a bottom up story based entirely on the player characters agreed aspects. Anyone else down for this?

I wouldn't use anything other than Core, I don't want to get too serious with the numbers. I'd rather throw aspects. (Basically I'm not going to get bogged down in the details when we can just have a good time).

The good Dr. might, but I have been trying to go for this exact concept for a number of years, and am really needing to fulfill it to the point of being actively disinterested in playing in other scenarios.

I do indeed remain interested if yert wants to set something up.  Or if someone else decides to do it.

I would still like to play this sentient ferret in a Discworld game.
