Couple days ago I had a dream where a couple of friends and I were at a comicon while there was a violent storm outside. They had a large exhibit in one of the halls called ‘The Collectors Vault’. We went inside and they had replicas of weapons, helmets, armor, etc… of various heroes and villains. In the middle was a pedestal with the ‘Seige Perilous’ on it. A placard roughly said that the more people that touch it, the brighter it will glow. And if you are the lucky 100th person to touch it, you could win a prize.

So one by one we all placed our hands on it. When my last friend touched it, a bolt of lightning struck a power line just outside. It sent an electrical charge through the wiring and into the pedestal. There was a loud popping noise and we were all thrown back on to the floor. Everything was black and quiet. Then we heard a low thrumming noise. The replica Perilous began to glow. A portal suddenly popped into existence. We tried to grab hold of whatever we could but we were sucked into it.

When we came to, we were all in a dark room. The lights came on and we were stunned. It was still us, but we were in the bodies of Marvel heroes. I was Polaris, friend of mine was Spider-Man, another Juggernaut and another Emma Frost. We were somehow transported INTO the Marvel Universe. All of us being the nerds that we were, we were excited and not scared.

We were still us, but we had taken over the bodies of the canon Marvel characters. Complete with powers but not any of their abilities.

So would any GM be interested in running such a game premise?

Small group – 4 or 5 friends.
Third person narrative point of view writing.
Prefer Mature or Adult for more freedom of play.

Dis regard if you are not interested, but i had a what if game that revolved around marvel heros getting sucked into the DnD universe.

possessing all the powers they had from their universe, but now must find a way back.

if there is any interest for it i will revive the game.

I had started a DC version of this, but it never really got off the ground.

I could run this in Mutants and Masterminds 3rd if you know that system.

I've heard of MM3 but have never checked it out.

It's fun and it isn't too difficult to learn.
