Star Wars SAGA:  13th level with a twist

This game would see my character (Vandar: a Jensaarai Force Disciple) and my brother's character (Dromo: a Jensaarai force sensitive Crime Lord) going on Jensaarai led missions (all party members being of the Jensaarai*) to obtain holicron's for 2 reasons:

1. To prevent either Sith or Jedi from gaining excessive power which might, at some point in the future, allow them to be successful in bringing the
   Jensaarai to extinction.

and

2. To increase the knowledge base and force abilities of its members, making them stronger and more able to fend off any future attempts to wipe them out.

Additional Information:

This game will be intended to start 12 years into the start of the Legacy Era (ABY 149).

The Jensaarai are an order of Force-users (and Force Sensitives) from the Suarbi system, who arose during the Clone Wars. Their name was Sith for "hidden followers of truth." Their philosophy and methodology was a blend of Sith and Jedi teachings.

Throughout their history they were hunted by both Jedi and Sith in an attempt to bring the order to extinction.  All attempts failed and the Jensaarai throughout history have kept hidden and have thrived.

* Jensaarai membership - any character with the Force Sensitivity feat can become a member of the Jensaarai tradition by being accepted as an apprentice by a Force Adept or Force Disciple who is a member of the Jensaarai.

I am looking for a group of 4-8 (depending on the GM's comfort level given the level of the game) to play in a game with characters of level 13 - 15 level (also depending on the GM's comfort level in running such a game).  These characters would all be members of the Jensaarai (see above for membership requirements).

The twist.  I'd like to play a character that is either one of Yoda's race or a member of a 'new race'; either being statistically based on the race specifications below.  I've found suggested specs on a number of sites for a 'yoda race', and have settled on the stat block below.

NOTE: I'd like all players to use a 36 - 40 point point-buying system (GM's decision).

Spoiler text: (Highlight or hover over the text to view)

Tridactyl Species Traits (or 'new species' Traits)

Small Size: As Small creatures, members of this race gain a +1 size bonus to their Reflex Defense and a +5 size bonus on Stealth checks. However, their lifting and carrying limits are three-quarters of those of Medium characters.

Speed: base speed is 4 squares.

Force Sensitivity: All members of this race gain Force Sensitivity as a bonus feat

Conditional Bonus Feat: All members of this race have a natural aptitude for using the Force. Members of this race with Use The Force as a trained skill gains Skill Focus (Use The Force) as a bonus feat

Automatic Languages: Basic, Tridactyl (or 'new species' language)

In reply to Sardis (msg # 1):

Sounds interesting, what era would you be looking at playing in? I'd be interested as a player, even if I don't have confidence as a GM.

That would depend on the GM's position on using material from source books.  I use material from Clone Wars and The Force Unleashed, along with others...but for my example this is enough.

For example, if the era to be played in precedes Clone Wars and because of this the GM determines material from the Clone Wars source book can't be used, then era will definitely matter.  In this case, since I possess the book 'Legacy Era' and could potentially like to use something from it, the game would then necessitate taking place at any point after the commencement of the 'Legacy Era'.

Star Wars SAGA:  13th level with a twist

I am Sardis's brother, mentioned in the gm request.

I would like to state my interest in playing a Crime Lord (a member of the Black Suns) who has a close relationship to Vandar (the gm requester's character) through their membership to the Jensaarai, an order of Force-users from the Suarbi system, who arose during the Clone Wars. Their name was Sith for "hidden followers of truth." Their philosophy and methodology was a blend of Sith and Jedi teachings.

Through out their history they were hunted by both Jedi and Sith in an attempt to bring the order to extinction.  All attempts failed and the Jensaarai throughout history have kept hidden and have thrived.

Another avenue this game could take is from Jensaarai led missions (all party members being of the Jensaarai) to obtain holicron's for 2 reasons.  To prevent either Sith or Jedi from gaining excessive power which might, at some point in the future, allow them to be successful in bringing the Jensaarai to extinction.  And, to increase the knowledge base and force abilities of its members, making them stronger and more able to fend off any future attempts to wipe them out.

Star Wars SAGA:  13th level with a twist

I'd like to second Balthazar's proposed alteration to the story line as presented in the first post.

It is much more in line with the shift of my character from being a Jedi Master to being Force Force Disciple. A change that I've implemented as my character concept has evolved since first making the game request.

NOTE: I have edited the initial post considerably to reflect changes in the desired game components a prospective GM would need to incorporate into this game.
