Hi everyone! Halloween is coming up and I was wondering if there was anyone out there who likes the Becoming the Costume trope (link: http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmw...n/BecomingTheCostume) like I do? Scale is completely adjustable, I'm game for everything from a small private costume party to a school/college/greek sponsored party to a large convention center or even a small city.

Or, as another idea: What happens at the magical Little Shop That Wasn't There Yesterday (link: http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmw...tWasntThereYesterday) when the holiday has passed? Same as any other store, put things on deep clearance discounts and solicit bargain-hunters! The group could be a group of actors/cosplayers that were going bargain shopping one All Saints' Day. What would you do with a steamer-trunk full or two full of magical costumes.

It would be interesting if this game was Adult or Mature, to enable more roleplaying options, but it's not required.

I'm definitely down for playing this!

I like the costume party idea over the store shopping idea personally.

This makes for an interesting setup for the explanation of the supernatural. Might be fun to do comicon. Something happens and suddenly the world is populated by superheroes and villains and storm troopers and darth Vader. Interesting situation when there are multiple versions of the same character as well.

Are you familiar with the Xanadu setting? There dosen't seem to be any new stories, but if you like transfoormation this is worth checking out. I don't want to post links because some of the stories might be NSFW and this isn't an adult game. But if you do a search for "Xanadu transformation stories" you ought to find a lot.

That sounds awesome! And, personally, I don't see a need to separate the two ideas. Start with the party and move on to the bargain hunting for the more forward thinking pary goers.

Would folks care to try making this a round robin or a shared story kind of game, like Tales for Two?
