I'm looking for a GM who either has a game now or is willing to start a game based on old school crpgs. I'm thinking games like Wizardry 6-8 or Might and Magic. I don't mean it has to be a dungeon crawl, though dungeon crawls are fine but something with similar mix of fantasy and sci-fi. I love these types of games but never have played one on rpol. I was thinking something like spelljammer maybe, though that's the only one I know that has both. I prefer d&d 3.5 or pathfinder, but am willing to use or even learn another system if I have to. Any body want to run such a game?

I don't know your references (beyond hearing about their existance and that spelljammer is scifi crossed with fantasy), but I need test players for my system and the setting is fantasy with several scifi elements, such as mana based "computers" and similar, though no guns really, not like we think of them.

I tend towards being a touch reactive.

What elements of those crpgs are you looking for specifically? Just sci fantasy or general crpg like play? I'm running an old school D&D based game that will be heavy on dungeon crawls and wilderness exploration. Old school D&D is very much in that vein though lacking in the sci fi elements.

I am looking for a game which has both the Sci Fi elements and the dungeon crawl and wilderness, but I would be interested in your game even without the sci fi.

Pretty much every game I run either has steampunk elements in Fantasy or is straight Science Fantasy to some degree or another. I was thinking on doing a Fantasy AGE game with a kind of fusion of science and magic. I'm in the planning process at the moment.
