I like foul language. What are we looking at for ratings?

Re: Titansgrave

I'd actually prefer an original campaign in the setting. And I'm good with mature and adult ratings.

Re: Titansgrave

Currently watching it, don't have the system but can get it, and am really intrigued. It's been a while since I tried a new system and AGE might be it.
Count me in for something origional or set (though Valkaria's science fantasy looks pretty cool).

No issues with foul language and Adult ratings here. House rules are fine with me too as is an original setting.

Re: Titansgrave

I'd be willing to run it. I've never actually played the AGE system, but I do have the core rulebook and have read through it. It seems like a very simple system. I find the level progression to be a bit confusing (on first read through, anyway), but short of that I think it's pretty simple.

I would run a different campaign than the one in the series, only taking certain elements from the pre-made stuff - such as parts of adventures or reskinned adventures. I'd be willing to run a game for up to four people. I'm not sure who else, if anyone, is willing to run but there does seem to be a lot of interest in it. Just let me know and I'll create a game.

Re: Titansgrave

I don't own Titansgrave because I felt $14 was a bit much for a PDF of an adventure with some setting details. Would that be a problem or is it easy enough to just get some help from someone who owns it if that is the setting used?

Re: Titansgrave

I don't see why that would be an issue. The history can mostly be summarized (it's not that long anyway) and most of the book is just the pre-made stuff, which players wouldn't need to know even if the GM was running that. The only things you'd really be missing out on is the racial option and the equipment info, both of which I think are easy enough to summarize to someone.

Basically I took the Zones idea and (without having any idea the specifics of Wheaton's ruling) came up with my own interpretation of it, Added a specialization that could make some Science Fantasy Stuff™ (I actually have three custom Specializations I wouldn't mind trying out that were inspired by other sources). I have made a half a dozen custom monsters, and I did with the Goblin what Fantasy AGE did with the Orc.

In reply to steelsmiter (msg # 14):

Nice. Science Fantasy is always fun. Exalted, Iron Kingdoms, and dare I say it, Warcraft.

I'm down for Fantasy AGE of any kind, but this is definitely a preference.

I won't go quite so extreme as Numenera (for example, I won't outright make a strong implication like "Magic is Nanobots", but I'm more inclined to leave it unexplained, or have several possible causes than to outright deny the notion). I will be including a few minor tidbits from them, like polymers. I think as far as most artifacts go, it'll be more of a pseudomagical steampunk influence than sci-fi.

Re: Titansgrave

I'm definitely interested in trying Fantasy AGE. Titansgrave less so than a more low-tech setting, but I'm game.

Alright, I'm in the process, I've got a few more things to finalize before set anything up, so if anyone jumps in and runs it before I get the chance, I won't be bent out of shape over it.

For!

Most especially if they also come with boarding actions, air pirate style... man, now I want to watch City in the Sky again, just for the air pirates.

Re: Titansgrave

There will be all kinds. One of the specializations I built is called a Gearhead, and Airship is a Master Device for them. Inspired by price multipliers from Dragon Age, I built a price multiplier system from the ground up that I used to come up with statistics of all the Gearhead devices (among many, many, other things). I based Airship stats as opponents based on these price outcomes.

So yeah, I'm actually prepared to run airships in just about any kind of battle.

But just so we're clear, that doesn't mean that I will be running a game about airship battles as much as one containing them

Re: Titansgrave

Mildly against, but it depends on whether all the PCs would have something interesting to do. I have bad memories of FASA Star Trek games where that often wasn't the case.

Excellent!

9 potential players (I think) have responded here -- with a realistic follow-through ratio, I'm hopeful :)
