Once upon a time, I saw a recruitment pitch for a Game of Thrones RPG game, using the system by Green Ronin. I was curious, and wound up buying the PDF and making a character that got accepted into the game... which wound up dying partway into the first scene thanks to a suddenly absent GM. Needless to say, I did not get my money's worth out of the experience, and am now looking for an opportunity to join a game using the system. I'm open minded as to the details, but I'm currently more interested in intrigue than crossing swords.

GR game is kind of tricky, especially PbP. Lots of math, especially if you want to get into fights. Even in the conversations, the back-and-forth nature of the exchanges doesn't really lend itself to this kind of play. I tried it before and got overwhelmed.

I've been planning a 5e D&D game set in Westeros. Heavily modified, obviously. I will get it ready once the other games I've just started get into the swing.

If you want to get into the true origins of Game of Thrones, then try the RPG "A song of Ice and Fire". It is what Game of Thrones started as, or vice versa. If you want a beginner GM at it, then I would be willing to give it a try.

I would definitely be interested in playing. And helping out as needed with NPC's and the like. Not savy enough with the forum mechanics for GM yet.
