Heroes -the series- meets D&D? (3.x, PF, 5e or M&M)

Recently I've been rewatching Heroes, and thought "Well, I guess this could work on a pseudomedieval setting". So I don't know if there's a DM out there interested in running it. Basically the same principle as in the movie series, normal people finding themselves with new and unexplained powers (Be it they are sorcerers, barbarians, paladins, favored souls, oracles, wilders and the like or dragonmarks...) and faced with saving the world from obscure treats.  There could be room for some truly mundane -but maybe higher level?- PCs to be the "company agents" of sorts. But one thing it wouldn't have would be intentionally powerful and/or certain origin classes -like wizards and clerics-, unless maybe an evil NPC wizard to be the equivalent of Sylar.

I'm no picky on the system/edition as long as it supports the basic concept, be it PF, 3.x, 5e or any other clone supporting non-intentional casters (I like 4e but I don't think it'll work). Even M&M if it helps a DM to pick it.

So, anybody?

Re: Heroes meets D&D? (Looking for a DM)

Seems like level based progression would help simulate learning about and improving one's powers. I'm thinking of something like dragon blooded from (I think) 3.5. As you rose in levels you gained more dragon-like powers. You could setup a similar progression for the super powers.

Well, that could work, but I'm more looking for a DM to play a system as is, without having to homebrew everything. (M&M would be way easier than to homebrew, but Pathfinder, 5e and 3.x have tons of material to go with) And it being a low-magic low powered world is more important to get this feel so maybe an E6 or even E3-4 could work.

So are there any takers? I would hope that the upcomming Heroes Reborn would spark more interest.
