Hello,

 I just bought the rules last week, Edge of the Empires. I am slowly digesting them,and was wondering if anyone might be interested in GM a game? It could be Solo or a group setting.
 I was in one game, but it went belly up, sadly.

I've been thinking about running a star wars game again.

Here is the basic premise:

You are a new recruit on a pirate ship set circa 2 BBY. It's a modified republic cruiser with a custom hangar extension to allow for 6 fighters to accompany it (broken up into 2 flights of 3 ships).

The majority of the crew would be NPCs, all the top positions already filled so you'd be a grunt on the bottom trying to work your way up.

The big feature of this would be that the ship itself would be the sandbox setting. This wouldn't be a game where you just jump from encounter to encounter in a non-stop action binge. Instead this would be a very personal focused story about you trying to fit in with this cast of undesirable characters. We would work together to create a personal goal and although there will be some space battles and boarding engagements most of the conflicts will be internal to the ship. One of the boarders steals your stuff, how are you going to get it back? Or perhaps you catch the navigator acting suspicious and can choose to follow her around and uncover her secrets.

All 20+ NPCs on the ship would be fully fleshed out with full backstories and motivations and secret agendas.

On top of this: you'll be pirates...in space!
