As the title says, looking for a GM for a Modern Day Alien Invasion/Post Apocalyptic type game somewhat like the TV show "Falling Skies".

Perhaps starting out alone or in small groups trying to scavenge, hide from alien patrols, and survive, maybe even fighting other humans scavenging for scarce resources.   Meeting or perhaps starting out with a GM run character trying to get the survivors united to form some kind of guerrilla resistance.  The GM leader would help direct the action, assigning the PC's and NPCs tasks and missions.

The systems I own have chargen and skills for a medieval or far future setting and are not well suited for this.  I would want a game system that is free or with a good OGL or rules light because I don't want to shell out money for another game system at this time.   Freeform perhaps, though I have little experience with such as I've tried it a few times but never had a game last.

Any takers?  Anyone else interested?

I adapted Castle Falkenstein to try to run a zombie game, grabbed all the relevant information and put it in a series of forum posts. The only rule I didn't transfer over was vehicle combat, which could be important in an alien invasion game. I could try working on that if you want.

The invasion has not happened yet and my game will more likely be along the lines of the show "V"

The aliens have showed up, but they are being very diplomatic. No one knows if they actually come in peace like they claim.
