Looking for a solo superhero game

My interest in the superhero genre has grown a lot lately. I'm very interested in playing a hero I created a while back under either the M&M 3e  or BESM 3e rules, as these are the two systems I'm somewhat familiar with and have access to. Although I have never played either system so there would be a bit of a learning curve for me, but I feel comfortable enough with them.

I would want a modern day setting in a large city, either a real one (ie New York), an established fictional one (ie Metropolis), or a newly made up one. I know that turned based combat can be sort of slow when doing PbP, but even still I'd be like a moderate amount of combat, I find combat more interesting in the superhero genre. I can post daily (or more) generally and would like a GM who could post similarly, at least 4 or 5 times/week.

Character and Background Info below:

Doctors Elysia Long and Jacen Black, a pair of engaged research partners, recently discovered two new types of particles they dubbed Alpha and Omega particles (an inside joke as the energy the particles could produce could bring about the rebirth or the destruction of a world).

Late one night, shortly after the discovery of the particles, Dr. Black was testing the reactivity the particles had to one another. Using Elysia's calculations, he fired up his machine and began his experiment. Elysia's calculations grossly underestimated the power generated when the particles interact and soon the machine became overloaded. Shortly after, an explosion occured that destroyed most of the research station the two worked at. The station was mostly empty due to the late hour and only Dr. Black was ruled to have died from the incident.

A few weeks later, a heartbroken and recently unemployed was coming home one night when a she found herself sudden knocked unconcious. She awoke to find herself in a dimly lit warehouse. Standing before her was a mutated Jacen Black.

Jacen's skin now resembled marble with the right half of his body being a solid white and the left side being a pitch black. Looking down at her with his glowing white eyes, Jacen explained to her that the explosion didn't kill him but suffused him with Alpha and Omega particles, empowering him beyond belief.  Elysia noticed he was different, from his tone and his words, she knew little, if anything, of her former love remained in this body.

Seeing an opening when his back was turned, Elysia ran for the nearest door. Jacen didn't miss this and turned to face her, lifting his right white hand up towards her. Bolts of electric-like energy (energized and projected Alpha particles) jumped from his hand and slammed into her, knocking her down. Jacen, becoming more angry, assaulted her with a constant stream of the energy, causing her to writhe in pain.

After several minutes of this, Jacen's anger subsided. He ceased his assault on her body, guilt creeping into his conciousness. Until the bullet slammed into his torso. Jacen turned, his ribbes trobbing from the shot but his body not even punctured, raised his left hand a let loose a green ball of energy from it (a concentrated blast of Omega Particles). The officer, not expecting the blast, was slammed with it, blasting him back through the opened doorway.  A second officer then appeared and began firing shot after shot at Jacen. Elysia, still in pain, fell back into blackness.

A few days passed before Elysia awoke once again. This time, however, she found herself in a hospital room. She was, surprisingly, not in pain and seemed uninjured. After being released, she slowly began to realize there were side-effects from Jacen's assault with the Alpha Particles.

After experimenting on her own blood and tissue, she discovered Jacen had hit her with the perfect amount of the Alpha Particle energy to leave her cells permanently charged with the energy. This allowed her to manipulate and generate the Alpha particles in herself. She was now much stronger and much more durable, she could fly and even blast balls of Alpha Particle energy from her hands. She could even absorb the energy and fuel her own power, to a degree.

Jacen showed back up in a nearby park, calling himself Dr. Kuro, taking several people hostage and demanding the city to surrender itself to him. Officers and swat approached, but his energy projection attacks kept most of them away for fear of their own lives. Once ready, a swat team charged in. Ten highly trained and highly skilled men, fully armed, rushed Dr. Kuro, firing as they went.

Dr. Kuro, becoming more and more angry, began mixing the Alpha and Omega particles inside of himself. This sudden and intense release of energy remained contained within him. Suddenly, he grew much taller and his muscle mass increased expoentially. The bullets pinged harmlessly off of him. He charged the swat team, batted them away with a single swipe from his now massive arms.

Elysia had to do something. Throwing on a make-shift disguise, she fly to the park as fast as she could. She proceeded to engage him, trying to talk him down, but his rage was too far gone. He attacked her but found her surprisingly fast and strong. After a rather even battle, Dr. Kuro's rage began to subside. Kuro blasted open a nearby sewer grate, jumping down into the sewers below to flee the scene.

Elysia decided she needed to stop him, and anyone else who threatened the city. This was the birth of Lady Alpha.

Secretly, after learning the possibility of charging organic beings with the Alpha particles (and theoretically Omega particles as well), Dr. Kuro begans creating super powered individuals, followers to serve him.

In reply to tselina (msg # 1):

If you are willing to use the Risus system, I'd be glad to GM this. It sounds fun! Did you create a game page for this?

Risus is uber simple, free to learn. http://www222.pair.com/sjohn/risus.htm
CS gets 10 pts to use on "clichés", 1 extra for a back story, and 1 extra for each "hook" (disadvantage). Each pt is 1d6 to use when that cliché is challenged. I assume as GM, I'd play Dr. Kuro and the other villains?

LMK if you would like this.

My suggestion for the CS for Dr Kuro would be:

Dr. Kuro/Jacen - Villain
Powers:
-Alpha and Omega particle Projection
-Highly Resilent
-Transformation to increase strength and durability
Weakness:
-None Known
Clichés:
-Super Villain [4]
-Raging Madman (4)
-Mad Scientist (3)

Re: Looking for a solo superhero game

I would prefer to stick to one of the above mentioned system, as I'm just as interested in playing them as I am in it being a Superhero game.

While I would want the GM to control Kuro and other super-villains, they could feel free to introduce any other heroes and villains they want to create, I just want Kuro and his followers to be the main Nemesis.
