DnD 4th character looking for a home
Hey there :). I've got a character concept I'd like to try out (for DnD 4th Edition, as noted in the subject title) and as a few of the games I'm in seem to have gone rather quiet lately I thought I wouldn't mind adding a new one to the list.
I don't want to give too much away but this character is in the Striker role and has a more sort of "fun" personality - she's not very serious. That's not to say the game can't be serious, but she herself doesn't tend to get all moody or whatever :).
If there are any games already running which have a spare slot or something, that'd be good. Really my only requirement is that there's none of that annoying "you must write your speech in colour" thing - that's what speechmarks are for :P. Colour for OOC notes in IC posts is of course fine :). I have done a search for any games requesting players but they all seem to have the above annoyance, so I wondered if there were any which don't mind getting an extra player but which aren't specifically tagged as such. I'd prefer a smaller, tight-knit group, maybe no more than four or five members. Doing adventure-y stuff would be good. I have no interest in anything involving vast amounts of politics.
I've started creating her already but I know some GMs have preferences for how stats are rolled and stuff (my preferred method is the 4d6-remove-lowest one), and starting gear and cash seems different in pretty much every game :D. I'd prefer to start at low level (1-5) so that if the game lasts long enough I'll get to experience levelling up and becoming uber :). I've never had a game last long enough to get past five and in that case (it was tabletop, not online) we were only level five because we started there :P.
Please send me an RMail or something if you have a game you think I'd be interested in, and I'll take a look :).
