Lots of zombie apocalypse games out there. Strikes me as an interesting idea to come up with a comic book science reason why dinosaurs have come back and have destroyed civilization as we know it. Kind of a Reign of Fire meets Jurassic Park.

D20 modern would be an interesting system to use.

Evil Hat published a trilogy of novels and a tie in adventure that does something like that. The system it was created for is Spirit of the Century, but could easily be converted to FATE Core.

The novels are pulpy fun and the adventure looks reasonably good. But, I haven't had a chance to run it yet.

I would like to play, d20 modern is a just fine system.
I know there are a lot of players that don't like it but hell I'm in.

D20 modern is simple enough and has a large selection of dinosaurs to select as enemies.

I would definitively join this kind of game. There are never enough dinos, even during a dinopocalypse !

Are you looking strictly for a dinopocalypse? Would you consider something like Dino Crisis? How about being transported to a "lost world"?

Dino Crisis sounds like it is just Jurassic park or thereabouts. Transported to a lost world doesn't really get to what I'm looking for. The idea is to have Dinos taking over our world. The interplay between the ruins of a modern world and dinosaurs is what I'm interested in.

Just saw Jurassic World and am still interested in this concept.

One thought is to have a Jurassic Park built in a major city and they have a breakout. Like Maybe in Central Park or on the lakefront in Chicago.

We watched at the Drafthouse and they show old movie clips before the show. There was a clip for Dinosaur Planet, a terrible 70's movie about a space crew who crashes on an Earth-like planet. Could do a Planet of the Apes type setup where at some point the characters realize that they are actually on Earth in the future.

Could also do a Land of the Lost type of creation.

I'm open to systems on this - nothing too crunchy, I think.
