Looking for Scion

Not sure what or theme or whatever, but I had a hankerng to play Scion: Hero. So, anyone starting up a Scion game or looking for players hit me up on rMail.

Fair warning, I have limited experience with the system but just want to explore some ideas.

Re: Looking for Scion

I was just thinking about opening up my Scion game to another group... You'd be more than welcome to join, but I have to warn you that it is definitely not a canon game. Only the Dodekatheon is allowed and they are not really "gods," but aliens. And there are a few tweaks to the system, too. Oh, and I'll be looking for teenage characters.

So, if you're still interested after all of that, here's the link: link to another game

I'll probably post an advert for it tonight or later this week.

Re: Looking for Scion

While interesting, I was drawn to Scion by it's fun playing with myth and the gods. If anyone is running a more traditional game, I'd like to throw my hat in to say I would like to participate.

Re: Looking for Scion

Well, as I prefer to play Norse... and want to play with the Myths... still looking for a more traditional game or one that is Norse themed.

Re: Looking for Scion

unfortunately I must say im with the others. The mythos and everything is what drew me to scion. Not to mention the Norse, Egyptian and Chinese being my favorite pantheons.

Re: Looking for Scion

I would also be interested in a traditional game. I like your premise Hobgob, but it is not what I am looking for.

Re: Looking for Scion

While I am normally more into the myths and such as well, your sci-fi setting is intriguing and I am interested.

When you say open to another group what do you mean?  Would this be an entirely seperate group, another group in the same universe with no interaction, little interaction, or a lot of interaction?

Re: Looking for Scion

Once upon a time I knew Scion enough to run it, but it's been a long time since I was that proficient...

Maybe if I spent a week or two brushing up I could run something for people in the line of traditional mythos, but I'd need people willing to put up with me fumbling the rules at least a little bit.

Well then, I suppose now that I've been found we should move this discussion elsewhere...

How about... here?
