Hoard is this great little indie game where the players play as a group of dragons. The objective of the game is simple: survive, collect treasure, and work together to achieve your personal goals. The game is one of those 'minute to learn, lifetime to master' kind of things and I have always wanted to play it for more than a few sessions, but the games seem to fall through. If anyone else wanted to play this game for a longer running tale I would very much be interested in that.

We can start at any point along the chronicle, hatchlings would be prefered since they are easiest and the system is not well known but I am fine with whatever the GM wants to do...

I would also be interested. I have tried to run a game years ago (Alexei was in it ;D), but after a time the game halted. I would be interested to be a player in the game this time, because... what is more awesome than being a dragon.

Would it matter if the Horde system wasn't used, but the setting was kept and used?

In many ways setting and system are intertwined, but if you could put together something in GURPS which kept the focus on playing dragons of the kind described in the Hoard book, or other system which allowed us to work with the setting, that could work.

Not interested in doing this with D&D or derivative though.
