Looking for game that wont fizzle out.

I love roeplaying I can rolepaly pretymuch in any setting or genre.  My life schedule doesn't let me play ina  Tabletop game right now or I would.  But Im really frustrated with Rpol in 6 months I have joined or tried to join (lurked) in 10 or more games.  Not  asingle one is alive or ever came to anything due to a combination of GMS deciding they are too busy to post once a week or player attrition.

PLEASE Invite me to a stable game.  I usually post with in 24 hours but I naver take longer than 72 barring extreme circumstances (and by extreme I mean death/illness, coma, blindness, etc.  Not, I had a lot of home work, my head hurt, or the dog ate my laptop).  If Im hurried my initial post may be an eyesore, but you will be able to continue the game while I come back and properly write it.  If I'm going be gone for a while I will let you know ahead when and how long I'll be gone.

I'd rather join a proven game thats been around for a while, but I'll join a new game as long as everyone is trully commited.

PLEASE give me agame to play in frquently and for the long term.

Re: Looking for game that wont fizzle out.

Or indeed any Pathfinder Adventure Path.
If a GM dares something with a scope like that in a forum game you can reasonably expect him/her to persevere.
More important: players should expect that and thus bring some serious dedication and commitment of their own with them before submitting an RTJ.
Well, that's the theory anyway.
Doesn't really help with player drop-outs... which I think is more often the reason for a game's decline than any other reason.
Anyway: good luck to find one. Been here for 5 years now.. and I do so share your sentiments. Don't let it discourgae you, though.

Re: Looking for game that wont fizzle out.

I have a couple of long running games (years) that are currently recruiting. Are you interested in historical games?

Game 1. Swashbuckling adventure in England (and beyond), AD 1661.
Game 2. Pistols and petticoats in England during the Regency, AD 1813.
Game 3. Robin Hood fun AD 1189. (Can't guarantee this one's longevity, I can't get 'em to post...)

I'm always looking for long term players, and I don't do disappearing acts. Do you prefer playing male or female roles?

How about Mouse Guard? Looking for a replacement player in a five year old game game, albeit one that sometimes makes a slow burn seem like a flash in the pan...

Re: Looking for game that wont fizzle out.

Fizzling out depends on too many different issues, I'm running a couple games that I'd like to keep for the long run, though. If you rmail me I'll introduce them.

Re: Looking for game that wont fizzle out.

I am running two mature games, sadly only one is actively recruiting.

link to another game

it is a highly political game where public opinion plays heavily into success and failure of each mission.
