I've been watching the game ads for awhile and poking around on RPOL for a time and haven't seen quite the right game yet.

I find the Fantasy Flight Games new Star Wars games really intriguing and would really like to get involved in a game that has a mixed group of players from amongst the different systems. It would be really interesting to see how the game develops with various types of characters from different aspects of the Star Wars galaxy such as some force sensitives, some fringers, some rebellion activists.

Unfortunately, I've also found I am not the most apt GM and so would prefer to play than GM for this one. Though I do think it could work really well taking the group through the EotE beginner game adventure as a way to get them started and get their ship as a group.. then potentially move into the free web adventure follow up to that. In fact doing EotE Beginner Game, AoR Beginner Game and FaD Beta adventure is a great way to get each character type access to a valuable resource for them. I've not personally read any of these adventures in any real depth so am not going to be easily able to metagame or the like, I just skimmed briefly when I was considering GMing such a game myself.

Now, admittedly, I myself would really like to play one of the Force and Destiny character types. And like many others really want to play a Force Sensitive/Force User struggling to become his idea of what a Jedi is. But I do hope there's enough out there that prefer other aspects of the game to make a really varied group and not a bunch of different flavors of force users.

The other thing is, I am currently working in Europe so my available times are a little off from North Americans and then will shift again in a few months time. I am also rather busy a lot of the time so generally tend to post about once a day.

Anyhow, hopefully there's enough interested folks and a willing GM out there. :)

Are you looking for a game that is rules-centered?  I am running a game that is more rules-light, but is open to all 3 systems.  I have a mix of Jedi and Smugglers/Bounty Hunters playing in different groups.  So far they have not crossed each other, but that is in the works.

I have not done much with the AoR classes yet, but that could change depending on how the story shapes up.

Anyway, if you are interested in more story-centered then rules-centered, give my game a look.  Otherwise, I wish you luck in finding a game that matches what you are looking for.

I think, for me, I like a good balance of story and rules.. especially as this is a narrative system. The dice seem like they could provide some very interesting results and seeing how that works out would definitely be cool.

But primarily, I think I am looking for a group oriented game set more in the rebellion era. Seeing how the different systems (Morality, Obligation, Duty) tug the group in different directions. Very few full fledged Jedi around, if any. A guerilla war going on against the oppressive empire.
