Let's go pirate hunting! D&D 3.5
Hello there! We are a happy group of six players seeking to play our characters in a D&D 3.5 game. Our alter egos are sailors, five of them hailing from an island protected by the magic of a demigoddess, trained as her devoted followers, common fishermen... and pirate hunters.
Our demigoddess is a loving protector and she only demands fresh souls of pirates to smile on us. And heck, we can do so much worst. After all, our Lady give us good winds on the sea, protect our island with mists (and reefs!), and a good patch of land in the middle of the ocean to build our homes and do some farming. All of that in exchange of a life of adventure making the seas safer for the decent people that want to travel and trade in peace, free from the scourge of the seas? It is a deal, and besides making those big pirates that think of themselves as the personification of badassery scream in pain and horror is so fun!
Now that the theme is set, let's talk about the crunchy parts:
Setting: Your choice. FR (There is even a pirate island where we can unleash hell), Eberron (I personally don't know enough of this setting to know if there is a problem with pirates somewhere), or your perfectly made homebrew setting.
Level: We are not going to lie, we hope to start as high as possible. That said, we can accomodate if someone is willing to run this. Just please no 1st level.
Gestalt: Yes please! No, really, if you can accept it, we would really enjoy it. Our characters are already built in that fashion. But again, if you are willing to GM this but are not interested in gestalt, we can reluctantly rework our very loved, very gestalt characters.
Sources: This is the point where we have to make a stand. Our characters are made with all what WotC had to offer and we really don't want to be limited in any sense.
Hope to hear from you soon!
