I would like to get into a relatively lighthearted game with a mix of roleplaying and action/adventure. I would like a more narrative system preferably FATE or Cortex Plus.

Settings/styles I'm most interested in (in no particular order):

• Superhero (Silver or Bronze age preferred, could work with Gold age as well)
• Science Fiction w/ space exploration (Firefly would be awesome, Star Frontiers is also good)
• Fantasy Martial Arts (Tianxia is my preference)
• Pulp Adventure (Spirit of the Century or similar)
• Space 1889 (I love the setting, the default system is okay)

I'm not interested in Adult or Solo games. I'm not a fan of playing canon characters and have a strong preference for playing my own creations.

I just wanted to put that out there in case there's anyone thinking about running a game and not sure what to run. If you have a game that fits my preference and are looking for additional players, let me know.

I…am having an insane impulse to use Fate Core and bits of Diaspora to run a Traveller game.

I've sworn off running forum games. It always ends in tears. And yet.

(The game I have in mind would be an adaptation of the classic "Traveller Adventure" set in Aramis subsector. It's not unlike Firefly, inasmuch as the PCs would be the crew of a small starship trying to make money by trading from world to world and possibly taking on a few less-than-ethical side jobs.)

I'm a long time fan of Traveller. Lately I've been looking over the Mongoose Traveller stuff and it looks okay.

I might be interested to play as well, should this get started!

Otherwise, I'm rebooting a fate game with two players. If they choose to start over and join up we can make place for one more. No theme has been chosen yet, so perhaps one of your preferences could work Shadowsmith. I am very busy though, so posting rate would be slow.

I'm fine with a slow posting rate myself. I'm normally limited to two or three posts a week.
