As Second Edition draws to a close and Third Edition looms ever nearer, there are many reasons to rejoice: better systems, a fresh start, a unified writing team, no more SIDEBAR: WHY MY LORE IS BETTER THAN THAT GUY'S LORE arguments taking up wordcount in every new product.

But there are also things about which to be somber! Whole splats lost to Elsewhere, kept in reserve for the unknowable future. Will we see Lunars in 2016, or 2017? When will Sidereals return? Infernals? Are Alchemicals ever going to reappear? (Probably! But when?)

To bide time and to celebrate the stories and characters that have made Exalted - sometimes through its breathtaking setting and complex-yet-evocative mechanics, sometimes intently despite them - such an awesome game to play, I am requesting a last 2.5e open-content game, of whatever plot and age and styling the prospective ST would enjoy.

A place for unrealized characters to find life, that one Silver-Voiced Nightingale heavy metal rockstar you always said you'd make, the ronin Sidereal airship pilot who is the master of dramatic cavalry entrances, and for the unrealized STORIES.

Specific requests: Revlid's absolutely everything, no Essence 6+, uh, I don't know, maybe free Excellencies and flat XP? Whatever works?

Specifically me: I would liiIIiike to play a Scourge favoring Metagaos (not evil! maybe a little evil) and I have a friend who is my ST IRL who says she is thinking about playing a Solar Hero...Solar hero, but she hasn't actually signed up yet so IDK.
