Three like minded players are in search of a DM willing to run a D&D v3.5 game in which we can at long last all sit on the same side of the table.

While we're not averse to such a GM bringing on additional players, we are first and foremost looking for a game in which we three will be taken on together-- Additional players should be brought in afterwards, and carefully vetted by the GM in hopes of a long term game. As share holders in the game we'd love to be consulted (each of us have been on rpol for a long time, and have been around the GM block aplenty), but totally understand that it's the GM's show at the end of the day!

For what it's worth, the three players for whom I speak (of which I am one) have been gaming together for 2+ years here on rpol, but invariably one of us has held the/a DM role.


Between the three of us, we've forged a list of criteria that we're looking for:

• The Three Players First and Foremost
• D&D v3.5
• Starting Level 4-6
• Minimum of 03 GM Posts Per Week
• Source Books (Negotiable)
• No Gestalt
• Nothing too "weird" or OP (ie: Pun-Pun, VoP's, Undead PC's, etc)
• Standard Fantasy Fare (no modern crossover, lasers, calculators, etc)
• An established setting (Forgotten Realms, Greyhawk, etc)
• Additional Players not to exceed a total group size of 06, and should be TEAM minded.
• Battlemaps (maptools, scanned drawings, MS Paint, etc).
• No ASCII maps
• Action oriented game. Simplistic Plot works!

We're also completely willing to be run through prefabricated modules, be they v3.5 or classics converted over. Some suggestions for the level range we're looking at:

• Return to the Temple of Elemental Evil
• Dragons of Autumn ==> Dragons of Spring
• Barrow of the Forgotten King ==> Sinister Spire
• The Serpent Amphora Cycle
• Pharoh
• The Shattered Circle
• Castle Whiterock
• Undermountain
• Shadowdale/Tantras/Waterdeep
• The Banewarrens
• Tearing of the Weave Quartet (Twilight Tomb, Cormyr: tearing of the Weave, Shadowdale: Scouring of the Land, Anauroch: Empire of Shade)

I may have four possibilities for you.

1. I run a game called JAGSS, which stands for Jade Archaeological, Geographical and Submarine Society. It is set on Golarion, but there could easily be a chapter on Toril.

2. I've been working on putting together a 3.5 Spelljammer game.

3. I've recently become a DM on the Realms of Adventure board, a strictly Forgotten Realms setting series of boards. My current area is The North.

4. I could start a new game for you.

 I am actually working on the final touches for a reboot of an Eberron campaign I started on here a few years back. If the three of you are willing to wait until next weekend at the latest to get started, then I'd love to GM for you.

My GM style is definitely more action oriented, but I also try and tell an epic story. I do not require eight paragraph posts from the PC's just to take a swing at a skeleton. By their nature the GM posts will always be longer and more detailed. I usually stick to a three times per week posting rate, unless the players prefer faster. I can even post daily if the pace of the players demands it. Keep in mind though, that I live in Japan so my evenings are most likely your mornings.


  As for experience I have been playing and GMing since 1E and have been doing PbP games for years as well. I have had some problems in the past will having to drop a game or disappearing without notice. All I can do is promise that if you take me on as a GM I will give you a fun, exciting story that should last for a minimum of one year- hopefully longer.

If everything sounds good then please contact me and I will give you enough information about the campaign to begin setting up your characters and the like.
