Diablo-esque DnD 3.5 gestalt (1st level)
As a fan of playing a druid summoner in the Diablo franchise of video games, I'm looking for a GM to run a game that might provide for that sort of feel. (Though, I'm not necessarily looking for a strictly hack and slash game, so other elements of a more D&D nature would also be welcome, ie: character development, diplomacy, intrigue/mystery, campaigning, etc).
To make my Summoner Diablo-esque, I'd like to utilize the Recharge Magic Variant from Unearthed Arcana as well as the Monster Summoning Variant - Individualized Summoning List (using option 4 as described in Unearthed Arcana).
Am looking to utilize a fairly wide range of 3.0/3.5 source material (ie: Fiend Folio, Lost Empires of Faerun, Player's Guide to Eberron, Eberron Campaign Setting, Magic Item Compendium, Complete series of books, traits/flaws from Unearthed Arcana, and possibly others.
I'd like to create my own cleric domains:
Unnatural Summoning - Domain Spells = summon monster spells I-IX
Domain Power = You cast all summon monster spells at +2 caster level
Gain +2 to CL when casting summon monster spells
Natural Summoning - Domain Spells = summon nature's ally spells I-IX
Domain Power = You cast all summon nature's ally spells at +2 caster level.
(The Domain Power's are considerably weaker than that of the already existing 'Summoner' domain, as they apply to only one type of summoning conjuration spell instead of all of them, and isn't applied to calling conjuration spells...so perhaps some room for negotiation? I have a few ideas.)
I'm open to a small group of no more than 4-5, each focused in different class areas based on those of Diable classes (Amazon, Barbarian, Necromancer, Paladin, Sorcerer, Assassin, Druid) I've only listed those classes available in Diablo 2, but am open to the use of other classes (ie: those found in Diablo I and III).
Note: My hope would be to find a GM who can find a way to ensure that leveling happens with some degree of frequency...perhaps a level a month (if not faster given the increased amount of combat that recharge magic allows for).
