ISO 1st Level DnD 3.5

A street urchin is approached by a shadowy figure and offered a small fortune (in his perspective anyway) to steal an icon from the temple of the goddess of luck/magic/new beginnings/change.  Upon delivering the icon he got his reward (or didn't, that isn't really important.  As he is heading to the whole in a wall he calls home, he is visited by another figure.  This one is the goddess herself/avatar/whoever-is-applicable.  In a whirl of magic, the young rogue boy finds himself a young rogue female.  His, now her, new visitor tells him that until he works-off-his-debt/recovers-the-item/some-other-campaign-applicable-task he will remain a female.

I would like to start at first level but ultimately I would like for the character to end up being a divine seeker prestige class and will end up being happy to stay a female.

Is there any campaign where my concept will fit in?

if you would like company I would also play along side you. Perhaps you asked for assistance to help retrieve the item or what have you. I could even be a young prist/ess from the temple you stole from sent to aide you in your quest. Up to you and the Storyteller, but the offer is there

Re: ISO 1st Level DnD 3.5

I'm a sucker for people with a specific concept.

Having said that, I need to think if this will work with my usual method of operation, which is using modules, as I don't have the time to make my own adventures these days.

Re: ISO 1st Level DnD 3.5

Somewhere in the module could be an item that the church wants or an item that the church doesn't want the bad guys to have. The church could just want The goal of the module to happen so I get sent to do that. I could have friends who are helping me on my quest and I will help them if they need it even though it's not part of my quest. My character concept is also mainly a beginning character concept. After I reach the first level of divine seeker, my character has pretty much excepted her new life is just a normal adventurer at that point. Even though I new reason to quest could present itself.
