Oooh. This scratches an itch I didn't know I had.

I'd be interested in running this for you, but I have a few questions.

1. What rate of posting are you looking for? I can't commit to more than 3/week. (Ideally I'd be doing 5/week, but I don't want to promise that much.)
   
2. Are you looking at being more focused on the kingdom-building or on the adventuring? Or an even mix?
   
3. What alignment(s) do you want to go with? Do you want to make this an evil campaign or keep everyone neutral/good?
   
4. How do you want to play orc society (and your band specifically)? Barbaric, callous, and brutal? Noble warriors? Warhammer style? Something in between these?
   
5. I haven't DMed in a while, so you'd have to bear with me if I screw something up.

I have no experience with evil campaigns, and I'm not instantly opposed, but I'd need buy-in from the players. I really don't want this to devolve into pvp, so as long as you're a tightly allied group of evildoers, I'm ok with that. Otherwise I'd prefer to stick with good/neutral.

I agree with coolkitten on all points. Although, I would say a more neutral based party. I see this tribe as having pulled back from evil to avoid the tribe being thrown to the winds. I see this orc tribe as being very honor based. Think of the show vikings, this orc tribe may do terrible things at times, but they should also have redeemable qualities(Neutral in the end. Some good, some evil). I want to explore the horrors and beauty of  orc barbaric/tribal life. What would our kingdom look like?

Their should be No pvp, due to the fact that we are small and highly dependent on each other. In a small tribe, most of us would be kin to each other(cousins, 2nd cousins, so on). So we should all know our roles(Who the leader is, so on), before play. We all grew up together, we should know this.

Just my two coppers. It would be an honor to play this game!

I also agree that some degree of neutrality would be desired, if only because we were put there and they would not put a roving band of evil marauders there as a buffer against other evil marauders.

As for the society, I'd say brutal and barbaric is a fit though not necessarily evil. Life as an Orc is harsh in most places they live. Maybe the new location is less so which means they would adapt and they themselves would become less harsh as a result.

EDIT: The idea of whether or not we stick close to the old culture or adapt and change could in itself be a plot device.

Indeed, that would be something to think about during game. Now if flelm does decide to run, I think we would have a great game! :)

Only thing I'm curious about is whether or not a single half orc would be interesting. It would be the group's diplomat, the face to the outside world.

EDIT: As in, that would be one of 2 character concepts I have at the moment.

Let's give it a whirl. I'd prefer to stick with non-evil, at least for the players.

I flagged it as Mature, as I think we may run into those themes. I am not going to go into Adult for this game.

Ok just saw this and I want in. I suddenly have an overwhelming urge to yell "GREENSKIN! WARRGGG"

I think this would be great both from an RP point and from a gameplay point as it goes places in kingmaker and does things that I have yet to see in a game.
