A "Classic" Game of Dungeons and Dragons

With the release of 5th edition, Dungeons and Dragons has once again sparked my interest in the simple stories of adventure, dank corridors, loot, and old-school fantasy.

I'd like to see a rather traditional dungeon-crawl. That isn't to say I want a game that's pure action without story. I don't. I'd just rather have a game that remains more character focused as we delve into tombs, crypts, and the ruins of dwarven cities or old-god temples.

A good inspiration would be something that hews close to the tone of the D&D comic released around the time of mid-4th edition. A story that acknowledges the classic tropes of Dungeons and Dragons without playing them up too much or outright subverting them would be nice.

Anyway, I'm happy to talk more specifically about what I'm interested in if there are any parties willing to give this a shot. Feel free to rmail me. I'll probably respond to that more quickly than I will to any responses in this thread.

Thanks again,

-Norwood

If it's 5e, I want to try it out myself, but I'm no 5e GM

I'm also interested if it's a 5e game but don't have the time to GM.
