I am looking for a few different games to play. Preferably something where I can get into roleplaying my character, long-term, and fun.

     I have over 20 years experience playing tabletop RPG's, and about a year or so with Play-by-Post type games.

     Unfortunately, the games I seem to be most interested in are the kind which never seem to be taking players, or are just not on here much (as is the case with ShadowRun).

     If anyone is willing to run any of these games (or let me join an existing one), I can post daily (sometimes even multiple times per day). I have an excellent writing ability, and tend to leave longer posts (usually at least 1-2 paragraphs).

ShadowRun:
 I am only familiar with 4th Ed., though, from the little I have read, 5th Ed. seems easy enough to pick up.

Pathfinder:
 The games I've seen on here seem to be either "Arena-type" games, or highly restrictive. The ones that aren't seem to not be looking for players.

D&D:
 I prefer 3.5, Forgotten Realms, or Eberron.

     I have a ton of different characters I've played with over the years, which I've enjoyed and would like to play again. Or I can simply make a new character to fit the game I'm in. My characters tend to be well-rounded with fully developed personalities. I can play a fighter-type as easily as a caster-type.

     I'm a very laid back type of player. I don't worry too much about power-gaming, min/maxing, or the "power/level creep". Like I said before, I'm more interested in ROLEplaying, than ROLLplaying, and I'd enjoy playing something with a good, interesting story-line than anything else.

     As for group size/make-up, it really doesn't matter much. I'm equally comfortable playing in a small group (or solo), as I am playing in a bigger one. I can even play multiple characters if you'd like, or would let me.

I have plenty of GMing experience, just none in D&D.  I do have several 3.5 books, however, and have thought about a few campaigns I'd like to run eventually.  If my lack of experience in D&D isn't too off-putting, do you want to talk about what kind of campaign you'd like to do?

Sure. Though I do prefer Pathfinder rules, at least when it comes to PCs. You can rmail me if you'd like.

  I'd like to dip my toes into GMing on RPoL, but am a bit shy about putting a big game together. To that end, how interested would you be in playing a game that really only has 1-3 PC's?

Shadowrun! Been playing this game Shadowrun: Returns for my pc and have gotten interested in it again. Would'nt be any GMs starting a fresh game, for new runners? I prefer a large game will the possibility of multiple teams.
